Mexico Missions

For over a decade Big Bear Christian Center has been involved with Pastor Aaron De La Borda from Texcoco, about a 45 minute drive northeast of Mexico City. Pastor Aaron established churches in Texcoco, Cuatro Vientros, and in Mexico City, D.F. Over the years Pastor Aaron has also gathered Pastors and become a mentor for them.

Through the support of Big Bear Christian Center many churches and pastors have been helped and ministered to through church improvements, ministry in the services and homes, and through a Pastor’s Conference. For a number of years members of our congregation have gone to Mexico as part of a short term mission trip to help with ministry in the churches and to be a part of the annual Pastor’s Conference. The mission trip each year has been a valuable experience for the people of both countries.

Pastor Aaron De La Borda comes to the United States fairly often and ministers at Big Bear Christian Center at least once a year, usually around November. This exchange of ministry each year has kept the churches in close contact.
