Specific Projects

You won’t find the family of Big Bear Christian Center talking too often about our own needs. We are “outward” focused and try our best to help others first.

Currently we are raising funds for the following special needs:

Project #1 - Roofing for a church in Cuatro Vientos, Mexico (outside of Mexico City) We helped provide the materials and land for the construction of the building which now has a tarp cover. During the rainy seasons we have much water infiltration. The trusses have been fabricated with square tubing and are now ready for roof materials. Approximate cost of materials is $5,000.00. Goal is to raise funds by July 2008.

Recently accomplished projects: (2007)

In Kenya, we supplied funding for electric supply for one church, portable electric generator for sound system operation, medicines for saving lives of children, hygiene items for 30 pastors and families, 2-day pastor’s conference with meals, transportation and housing.

In Mexico we supplied pastor Aaron De La Borda (who pastors 3 churches) with a laptop computer and wireless microphone.

In Minneapolis, Minnesota we helped with a weekend conference with Forerunner Ministries.
